Interconnectedness.

Relationships are the essence of life. Every being is unique, interconnected, and has their own role to play with diverse offerings as well as needs. Every being contains an entire universe—this is true for all life. We can learn through the observation of natural ecosystems how we can better connect to and serve each other and the greater good. Moving from isolation and incoherence into harmonic expression, each is heard and able to collaborate to create a new, aligned, embodied, and vital present moment.





Holistic Care.

We’re committed to learning how to better care for the micro and macro ecosystems of which we are a part. This is one of the key missing pieces in so many of our institutions, systems, and spaces that prioritize profit, academic achievement, or elitism over collective well being. We think deep, holistic care should be the primary concern not just on a personal level but at the level of the systemic—baked into all that we do.





Potentiality.

Quantum physicists speak of the unified field—a physical, although perhaps invisible, substance of which all aspects of our observable reality are made. The Tao Te Ching refers to this as “no-thing” from which “the ten thousand things” arise. The Upanishads call it pure being or pure consciousness, always present beneath all that is. Artists might refer to it as an ocean of ideas.

As we take time to dream and imagine, as we take time to be still and silent and solitary, we’re building a kind of internal architecture—a bridge, a tunnel, a spiral staircase—to access this ultimate source. The more we engage in these practices, the more we activate this internal ocean and the better we get at channeling beautiful, new, and good realities into existence.





Autonomy.

We know that micromanagement stands in the way of innovation. At Rad Futures, we believe that individuals deserve autonomy in their work style, creative practices, and expression of purpose within our organization. Externally, grants and offerings are unrestricted to allow for the full expression of each entity’s unique mission and values. Communities deserve to imagine and be the authors of their own destiny—we’re here for it.
